Transmog with Tabards - Gilneas Tabard

Gilneas Tabard

For my Transmog with Tabards series I've decided to start out with the Alliance and Horde Faction Tabards.

Gilneas Tabard

Shoulder - Shoulderpads of Dou Dou chong
Chest - Blue linen Vest
Bracers - Sorcerer Bracelets
Gloves - Imperial Red Gloves
Belt - Veteran's Silk Belt
Legs - Legwraps of Cardinality
Feet - Mistscape Boots

Shirt - Blue workman's shirt (optional)

I wanted to pick up the red within the Tabard and I think the Belt along with the red in the Legs do a good job of highlighting it. While Dreanei don't show boots very well I liked these on my human so they should work for other races too.

Transmog with Tabards

Ever since competing in Sam's Tabard of the Hand transmog contest I've wanted to make a transmog for each of the Tabards in game. I wasn't really sure how to go about it. With Korla being my main she has access to almost every tabard in game apart from the TCG ones.

But that would mean all of the mogs being cloth and given how little room I have to work with I've come to the conclusion that I'll do it with the help of Mogit! That way I can incorporate some Mail, Plate and Leather into the looks!

I'm not sure how often I'll post a new one but hopefully every week or fortnight I'll be able to post a couple. If there's any you'd like to rush up the list then feel free to let me know where or via Twitter.

Tabard of the Hand transmog contest entry.

Samaramon created a Transmog contest involving the Tabard of the Hand which is a tabard you get from completing the Draenei starting area. When she announced it I had great intentions of creating a look for each of the armor classes but I've just moved house and we only just got our internet back! So with the deadline being tomorrow I've managed to knock two together quickly this evening.

The rules were pretty simple;

The tabard MUST be included. (I think this is implied, but you never know)
~ The set MUST be transmoggable. No full plate then cloth head, for example.
~ The items used MUST exist in-game! Please don’t use items that were either removed or their model is in the game files but doesn’t actually exist in-game.
~ Do NOT post incomplete sets! While things like wrists aren’t visible and can be excluded, please don’t send a set without shoulders or boots for example.
~ The weapons MUST correspond with the class! Please don’t send me a priest with a polearm.
~ You MUST attach a list of the items! If I love your idea and would want to transmog it, I’ll need the items!
~ Do NOT post someone elses idea. While similarities may occur, after all there are so many items in-game, please try to be original and don’t copy others.
~ Stick to the deadline! I won’t accept entries past my deadline, so don’t send. It wouldn’t be fair.

I don't usually like submitting transmogs via Moggit as I like to go out and collect all of the bits but time wasn't on my side!

You can read more about the content on Sam's blog here.

Priest Tier transmog with a difference. Part two.

This is my second part of Priest tier transmog with a difference. The bottom half of the Priest tier is often overlooked which is a shame, there are some amazing designs out there. Make sure to check out my other post if you haven't already.

I adore the colour of these leggings!

Priest Tier transmog with a difference.

Recently I've been playing both my Warrior and Paladin a lot. Being plate wearers they have the option to transmog to some plate skirts but I tend to keep them in full pants. Tanking in a dress doesn't feel quite right to me. With that I've started looking at cloth legs a bit more. There are no Priest tier sets which don't use a robe, same with Warlock.  Mage Tier eight is the only tier set in game which uses a tunic and pants model.

There are some gorgeous legs out their for Priests especially so I decided to build some outfits around two of my favourites for today. I'll post another two in a couple of days. You can find the links to the items used under the pictures.

Priest Tier five legs.

I chose to wear a Tabard, something I don't usually do with Clothies as I don't think they sit right with robes. I transmogged my robe into a low level green chest which wasn't a robe and added a black shirt.
