Alt Appreciation Week Ten - Warlock Week

Lae from World of Lae has come up with awesome idea of celebrating all of the classes in World of Warcraft one by one, each week! You can find out more about it and a list of participants in this thread.

 Warlock Week

Tairrie

Warlocks are Bamfs. I however am not and that means that I'm terrible at the class. I somehow managed to muddle my way though to level 90 which was quite a surprise. She's called Tairrie after Tairrie B from the band My Ruin because I've always been a huge fan of theirs.

Throughout Vanilla and The Burning Crusade along with Druid and Rogue -Warlocks were one of my most created but not played class. After instancing with anyone playing a Warlock and seeing how awesome they were I'd immediately create my own, get to around level 12 and just as quickly abandon her.

My highest level was during Wrath of the Lich King which got to level 51. She was a cute little Undead with pony tails but I had to delete her in order to level a character with a real life friend whom I was doing Recruit a friend. I decided to level another Warlock with my friend's Mage as it was the only class I'd never gotten to max level and with the Recruit a friend bonus I'd hopefully level so fast I wouldn't notice I was doing it! Sadly my friend stopped playing during Cataclysm due to having a baby but my Warlock soldiered on.

I enjoy playing the class but I think it comes down to the same struggle I have with playing Shadow Priest, I don't really enjoy DoT (damage over time) classes. I do lover he though, as my only Warlock she's a wee bit special and I do love Chaos Bolting people in their faces.

  1. Very nice sets! I love the soft hues of the first set, and combining the robes with classic warlock attire works perfectly. I barely (as in never) play my warlock, so I can't imagine even trying my hand at melting faces. Thank you for sharing her with everyone! :p
